PLEASE NOTE:

This show is a fund raising effort to improve and fix Jumping Equipment at the RVS & NRS. All the money collected through entries will be used for this purpose. Stabling fee will go to the RVS & NRS. Children, Juniors and Adults will compete together. Dogs have to be on a leash when brought to the RVS & NRS grounds. There will be between 10 and 14 Jumps in the Competition and 6 Jumps in the Accumulator. Refreshments and Hot Dogs will be available at the Show. The RVS will Host a Bring & Braai on Saturday Evening feel free to pop in and join us with your friends. Neither RVS, NRS, the show jumping body, its officials or representatives as well as the organizers shall in any way be held responsible for any loss, damage, theft or injury sustained by horses, riders, the public or their property at the show, caused by, or resulting from this show.

NOTES:
1.         All NAMEF and FEI Rules shall apply. Telephonic or entries unaccompanied by the correct entry
            fees will NOT be accepted. Late Entry’s must be accompanied by DOUBLE the Entry Fee, and
            will not appear in the Program!
            Classes: CE-CC, JF-JC, AF-AC are open to full members of NAMEF and a Club Registered with
            NAMEF riding registered horses and riders.
2.         Classes: 60cm- 80cm, Riding Ability, Barrel Racing is open to RVS members and Other Clubs
            members. The Horse & Dog Relay is open too the Public, Riders Have to be a member of a Club.
3.         Tack, Bits and Clothing must comply with the relevant NAMEF Rules & Regulations.
3.         The Organizers reserve the right to cancel, combine and restrict classes.
4.         All horses must be accompanied by their updated Horse Passports (May be checked at any time).
5.         All Dogs must be on leads.
6.         Catering will be available.

RVS will host a Braai on the Saturday the 10^th of May 2008, which will start at 19h00 in the Club House. The Bar will open its doors at 18h00. If you would like too join us for Dinner PLEASE let us know (081 124 02 93) so that we have an estimate for catering purposes. The charge per meal will be N$ 50.00 (Meat, Bread, Salads) will be included.

Dear Riders / Instructors

We are privileged to have Mirja Horsthemke, a SANEF Equitation Judge, offering an Equitation Clinic on 27 & 28 December 2007 at the Reiterverein Swakopmund.  Each participant will be given two 1 hour lessons in groups of four on the two days respectively.  The clinic is offered at a cost of N$160.00 per horse.

The Competition is held from January to December in accordance with the FEI Rules for Dressage Events, 22^nd edition, effective 1st January 2006, Art. 401 - 413, 416 - 418,422,425.1, 427- 435.1, 437.1 - 437.4 and 439. (pls. consult www.horsesport.org >Dressage >rules) and FEI General Regulations, Pony Regulations and Veterinary Regulations into force.
