Category B: Standard Riding Ability Test (20 x 40 arena) Open for everybody up to 16 years of age who have not won any Riding Ability Test, or have taken part in any Dressage/Equitation Test or Jumping Event at any Official Show. Martingale or side reins are permitted. Competitors entering in competition No. 1B may not enter competitions No. 1A & 1C
Category C: Standard Riding Ability Test combined with a Jumping Competition (maximum height 40cm) (Parcours) Open for everybody up to 16 years of age who are not participating in any other Dressage or Jumping Event at this show, excluding competition No 25. Martingale is permitted. Competitors entering in competition No. 1C may not enter competitions No. 1A & 1B.

29. NAMEF Team Show Jumping Championship 2008
(Rules and Regulations - please refer to NAMEF Website (www.namef.org) Article 2.6.2 of the Namef Rules and Regulations)
In order for the organizing committee to determine if this competition will take place, we request all clubs to indicate at the closing date of entries, if they have a team or not. The competition will only take place if 2 or more teams are nominated. Late entries are not accepted.
(Stipulated Height for this competition: 110 cm)
30. AUAS VIEW Masters Competition (no entry fees applicable)
The overall prize money for this competition is N$ 5.000,00
The 5 most successful riders/horses (School horses can qualify, but can only be ridden once in one horse/rider combination) combinations out of the Children, Junior and Adult Jumping Competitions qualify to ride in the Auas View Masters. At the discretion of the judges, in conjunction with the Organising Committee of the Competition, further riders may be invited to ride the masters. The classes will be judged individually and a winner of the Children, Junior and Adult class will be determined. The rider with the best overall result of all 3 classes will be the Auas View Master.
The 5 most successful riders/horses out of their respective category will qualify in accordance with Namef Rule 1.21 out of the following competitions 4, 5, 6, 9*, 10*, 11*,12,13,14 ,20*, 21*, 22*,23,24 & 25.
* - F Horses CANNOT qualify
The competition will be ridden over a D-Course (C Horses Handicap) in the respective age class and will be judged according to FEI Article 238 2.2 (Rule AM5).
31. Musical Kür Competition N$ 20,00
Open for Children,
Junior and Adult riders
Children Riders
will be judged according to SANEF Pony Riders Novice Musical Kür
2007 (20 x 40 arena)
Junior and Adult Riders
have the choice to be judged according to;
SANEF Novice Musical Kür 2007 OR SANEF Elementary Musical Kür
2007 (20 x 60 arena).
However no
horse may be entered below its grade. Junior and Adult Riders
will be judged as individual classes.

| General Rules and Regulations |
ALL HORSES AND RIDERS HAVE TO BE REGISTERED WITH NAMEF OR ANOTHER MEMBER FEDERATION OF THE FEI PRIOR TO THE ENTRIES CLOSING DATE OF THE SPECIFIC EVENT (except participants of the Riding Ability Test and horses only entered in Youngster jumping competitions, BGA jumping competition and/or P Dressage.). International Riders must provide proof of registration with their National Federation).
All riders should familiarize themselves with the article 1.19 (Veterinary Matters) as per the NAMEF Rules and Regulations 4th Edition 2007.
1. All competitions will be ridden according to Rules
and Regulations of FEI and NAMEF (Refer to www.namef.org)
2. All horses must be in possession of a valid and up to
date Horse Passport, and be vaccinated up to date against
African
Horsesickness
and Equine Influenza.
3. Closing Date for entries is: 14th May 2008
4. Stabling of horses:
The Stabling
Fee will be N$ 45,00 per horse for the duration of the
tournament (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday night). Any
additional days required will be charged additionally at N$
20,00 per night. Any early arrivals and/or late departures
must
be noted on the entry form. Due to the limited amount
of stabling available at Auas View Stables, stabling will also
be
provided at Gymkhana Club. Should prefer to be stabled at
Gymkhana Club, please indicate as such on the entry form.
Competitors must supply their own feeding, grass, water troughs and bedding for horses.
5. Officials cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained by horses, riders, the general public and/or their property.
6. Dogs brought to the premises of the AUAS VIEW STABLES must be kept on a leash AT ALL TIMES.
7. 15% of all prize moneys and 25% of entry fees will go to NAMEF.
8. Riding “out of competition”, also for adults, in any of the programmed events, will be allowed in accordance with the provisions of NAMEF Regulation No. 1.9.
9. The organizer
reserves the right to:
a)
cancel any of the programmed competitions, should to few
entries be received for such event or competitions;
b)
combine two or more competitions into one, with or
without handicap for higher grades;
c)
amend the time schedule mentioned in the programmed
events;
d)
change the starting order of riders in competitions in
case of need; and
e)
postpone or cancel the tournament in part or totally, in
case of unforeseen and/or special circumstances.
10. A FEE OF N$ 25,00 PER RIDER IS COMPULSORY FOR FIRST AID SERVICES AND MUST BE ADDED TO THE TOTAL ENTRY FEE.
11. Entry Forms:

The attached entry form must be completed in full
(including, in case of children or juniors, the date of birth of
the relevant
rider).

Payments must be made to:
